There wouldn’t be a network marketer in the world who hasn’t been discouraged at the progress of their network marketing business.

If you have never lost faith, then I would suggest you bottle your enthusiasm and market it. You will make a fortune!

How do you maintain faith and belief in what you’re doing will pay off for you in time? It’s tough I know but this business is all about taking short steps in reaching your goal and there is really no easy shortcut to network marketing success.

I’m going to show you one way which has worked for many countless network marketers to “keep their eye on the ball” when it seems you’re backing more losers than winners.

It’s simple…just document your winners and losers. When you have a loser write it down in a notebook. When you have a winner do the same and highlight it.

The truth is, you back a lot more losers than winners in your network marketing career. That’s part and parcel with learning by failing so you can learn from your mistakes.

Does that make sense?

It’s that old 80/20 rule and while you’ll get discouraged, remember, the more losers you back the closer you are to getting a winner. And that gets back to having the faith and belief in what you’re doing will ultimately reward you in your network marketing business.

So how do you maintain faith and belief? Easy… get a daily dose of motivational material. Whether it be in print or audio, it’s one of the few things which has remained unaltered in network marketing.

People will give up on something quickly if they receive a knock or two. In the MLM business, you can get battered around like a prize fighter. Rejection is considered one of the most debilitating failures in this business.

By listening to some of the great motivational speakers like Nightingale, Canfield, Rohn and Ziglar, you can get the inspiration you need to keep your eye on your long range goal.

Instead of being turned off by your failures embrace them as a learning experience and tackle them head on. By continually turning away from them you’ll develop a stronger fear of failure.

By listening to motivational material on a daily basis, you’ll eventually start to develop a force field against failure and begin to understand the mechanics of achieving success.

Building a successful network marketing business is not a race. Short term thinking has no place in long term success strategies.
