Why You Shouldn’t Computer Backup

Thursday 7 February 2008 @ 1:40 pm

Computer backups are like insurance. You know you should have it but don’t think you will need it. When disaster hits, you regret dragging your feet. When you’re running a home business, you can’t afford to take that attitude. Think of all the work and data you’ve accumlated so far and tell me you don’t feel a slight twinge if you woke up tomorrow and all of that is gone. Sure you do.

Backing up is easy. There are many backup options available. With faster internet connections, backing up online is a popular option and they are affordable too. You can get online backup solution for as little as $5 a month. But if that is your only backup, you may be setting yourself up for disappointment later.

Don’t get me wrong. Backing up your computer online is a good option. Certainly better than nothing. For home based business, you should backup your computer online so you have a copy of your data off site. Should anything happen to your office like fire or flood, online backups would be very handy for you to start over with.

But online backups can be painfully slow even with high speed Internet. That’s because our hard drives are getting bigger and bigger. It is not uncommon for a home business to have 20GB or more to backup and that is a lot of data. Restoring your computer through the Intenet could take days.

What you should do is, backup multiple copies in different media. In addition to online backup, backup to an external hard drive. They are getting cheaper by the day. You can also restore your data pretty quickly. At regular intervals, make DVD or tape backups too because hard drives do fail. You can’t ever have too many computer backups. The more you have and the more often each of them are done, the better your chances of recovering your data in a timely manner.

7 Great Lies Of Network Marketing - What MLM And Pinocchio Have In Common

Wednesday 6 February 2008 @ 3:42 pm

When The 7 Great Lies Of Network Marketing first rolled off the presses in 2007, the MLM industry was about to get a revelation.

For too long the industry has accepted the extraordinary failure rate within it’s business building community and it took a struggling network marketer to address them.

If you are one of the 95 plus per cent of network marketers who are still spinning their wheels in this industry and not making any money then there is very good reason.

Let’s remove lack of action for a moment because undoubtedly this will account for many failures within the network marketing business. But the truth is, there are seven prime reasons why today’s network marketers simply cannot get off the starting blocks with their businesses.

Ann Sieg was a struggling MLMer for many years who did everything right in promoting her business. She made a list, attended meetings and poured her heart and soul into trying to grow her business. The fact is, every one is not a prospect in network marketing.

The 7 Great Lies Of Network Marketing
Bottom line is, just about everything you’ve been taught about network marketing, to quote a passage from her report…”is BS.”

Sieg set about compiling her report, The 7 Great Lies Of Network Marketing and knew deep down she was going to offend some people. Let’s face it, despite more than 95% of people failing in MLM, there is still a propensity to get defensive when someone starts to belittle the industry.

Fact is, Sieg doesn’t belittle the industry. She recognizes it as one of the truly great vehicles for the average citizen worldwide to create financial security for themselves.

- anyone can do this business
- every one is a prospect from your family, relatives, friends and strangers
- you don’t need any skills other than being able to make a list or
- you’ll have your business built for you

Do they sound familiar to you? Truth is, anyone can do this business but only with the right skill set. And those skills should be taught even before they join the business. Most people who join a network marketing business don’t have skills such as marketing and promotion and to some extent sales.

And possibly one of the most irritating of The 7 Great Lies Of Network Marketing is being told one needs more self belief and belief in the business. Well, that’s true but how does that get you the fuel to build your business, namely prospects.

The Renegade Revolution

The The 7 Great Lies Of Network Marketing may have hit a nerve or two but now that the dust is settling, the growing numbers of renegade network marketers who continue to emerge every day is strong testimony to the message conveyed within the report.

Renegade System - The Secret To Creating MLM Wealth

Wednesday 6 February 2008 @ 12:59 pm

Breaking down the barrier a prospect puts up when you first make contact with them should really be a pretty simple process.

How so? That’s easy…don’t ram your primary business offer down their throat the very first time you speak with them.

It’s been the achiles heel of network marketers since this great industry started about the middle of last century and continues to hurt the chances of MLMers in building successful network marketing businesses today.

Ann Sieg introduced a new concept to MLMers in 2007 via her book, The Renegade Network Marketer. It revolved around a topic called attraction marketing. The bottom line is instead of you harassing and chasing down your prospects, they actually come to you.

Sounds a little far-fetched in the network marketing world doesn’t it. Well the truth is it’s not and is very real. Believe it or not, putting yourself in front of the right crowd is one of the key elements in creating an endless stream of people who want to hear what you have to say.

The The Renegade Network Marketer has established the blueprint to real MLM success which requires no convincing anyone they have to do this business or else.

The first barrier you need to break down surrounds creating interest and desire in your prospect. Interest can be created through information you provide them such as a report on just about anything to do with improving their current financial position.

The report needs to be something that will then create a desire within them to want to know more. If that desire is created then they will be contacting you. But don’t stop at the first report. Offer them other valuable pieces of information over a period of time.

By doing this, you are establishing yourself as someone with plenty of credibility and a valuable part of the prospect’s future endeavors to expand their current knowledge and efforts to improve their financial stability.

Compare this to “jumping at them” with your business opportunity from the very first moment you meet them and then ask yourself which is likely to create a lasting relationship with them.

One smacks of being a desperate marketer while the other emanates a sincere desire on your part that you really are interested in their future financial well being.

Do this over and over again and over time, you will not only build your business but you will have a solid team of business builders working with you doing the same.

It’s attraction marketing at it’s best and is the exact same principles built into The Renegade Network Marketer.

How To Find Paid Online Surveys In Australia

Tuesday 5 February 2008 @ 11:18 am

Taking paid surveys in Australia is no different than anywhere else in the western world. Basically, the same rules apply.

The beauty of paid surveys online is you can basically be anywhere in the world and complete a survey originating from another country. But as mentioned earlier, the same rules apply for someone who completes paid online surveys in Australia as they do for someone in the United States.

Survey Opportunities In Australia

If you live down under and are wondering about survey opportunities available to you don’t get to hung up about sticking to your own locality. Look worldwide and concentrate on the better know survey sites.

In Australia, here is a shortlist of sites but are in no way being recommended by this site. These are simply sites offering surveys and what you need to do is read carefully the terms and conditions.

For example, sites such as Great Aussie Survey, Pure Profile, Spider Metrics, Survey-N-More, Light Speed Research Australia and What Do You Think may represent good starting points.

The mentioned sites should give you a good chance to check out the formats of each, what they offer and their terms. Under no circumstances should you be parting with any money of your own simply for the privilege of taking a survey.

It’s always a good policy to check each of the sites you visit for legitimate contact details such as an email and phone number. Being able to contact someone means you’re at least dealing with real live people.

Once you have a good feel for the survey industry and think you can spot a scam from a legitimate opportunity then it might be time to ramp up your efforts. If you live down under, taking paid online surveys in Australia will be a good starting point but to have the opportunity of earning more money, you’ll need to consider overseas survey opportunities.

Be aware, many of these are country based meaning they don’t accept residents from other countries so you’ll need to spend time searching for those surveys you qualify for.

Renegade Network Marketer - How To Easily Win Your MLM Prospect Over

Monday 4 February 2008 @ 12:34 pm

The lack of skills most network marketers possess in attracting prospects to their business were highlighted in no uncertain terms in The Renegade Network Marketer.

Ann Sieg’s Renegade system didn’t mess around in telling it like it was and that most network marketers have been missing the mark in the laws of attraction marketing. Hands up if you’ve been prospected in the past by an MLMer whose first approach to you was to get you to take a look at a business opportunity?

Some may ask “how else was one supposed to get a response if they didn’t ask the obvious question. Well, the short answer was most people are definitely looking for something better but to hit them up with your offer from your very first conversation with them goes against the grain of attraction marketing.

The principles of attraction marketing are foreign to most network marketers yet, by applying them to their business promotion strategies, there is little doubt even the most stagnant MLM business can be kick-started into growth.

Getting Interest And Desire

Attraction marketing is more about getting to know your prospect and developing a relationship with them. Instead of charging at them like a “bull-at-a-gate” with your primary business offer, instead, offer them limitless value before you even think about talking business with them.

Your first task is to get some interest and desire. There are ways to do this other than tackling them first up. First of all, you need to make it about them and not about you. Offer them something they can use initially; give something away such as a report or offer them some training but don’t tell them that unless they do this then their world will fall apart.

For example, with the Renegade system, you will begin the pre-sell process immediately a prospect comes into their funnel. The training begins immediately whether your prospect joins your business or not. This concept is foreign to most MLMers.

You suddenly become important to your prospects future business plans in fact, you become someone they will most likely want to do business with.

7 Great Lies Of Network Marketing - The MLM Scam Is Finally Over!

Thursday 31 January 2008 @ 2:25 pm

It takes skill to build a network marketing business. Don’t let anyone tell you it doesn’t. Ann Sieg attacked some of the misconceptions within the industry in her much over due report, The 7 Great Lies Of Network Marketing.

The 7 Great Lies literally turned the industry on it’s head and was then followed up by The Renegade Network Marketer. The result? The network marketing industry has suddenly become an attractive proposition again fopr those looking to build a successful home business.

Business skill to run an MLM business comes with training…proper training. The truth is, no one will build your network marketing business for you.

In the new world of the Renegade Network Marketer, business skill revolves around using the power and leverage of the internet to attract hundreds of prospects to you. It’s natural for “beaten up” former network marketers who simply gave up with the old model of offline prospecting to doubt moving online can resurrect their MLM business.

Branding Yourself

Creating your own identity is vital to establishing credibility within the MLM business world today. If you continue with the old style methods then you are going to be eating a lot of people’s dust!

Branding yourself means having your own website or blog for a start. It’s a powerful way to apply the principles of attraction marketing taught in Sieg’s book.

By having your own website to brand yourself; your own blog to create a relationship with your prospects and lead generation methods which include article marketing and utilizing the power of the Web 2.0 boom, don’t you think you can attract targeted prospects into your marketing funnel?

Join The 21st Century

Being told that anyone can do this business has been one of The 7 Great Lies Of Network Marketing. Yes, anyone can do this business but only by knowing the right skills to build and promote it.

The shift is happening now in network marketing. Online is where the “green pastures” lie and by applying the Renegade system to your marketing and promotions, you can reap a long, sustaining harvest.
